1. Go to Setup and open the Object Manager.
2. Select the Contact object.
3. Click on Fields & Relationships in the left panel.
4. Click Set History Tracking.
5. Select the fields you want to track — you can track up to 20 fields. Deselect any fields you don’t need.
6. Click Save to enable field history tracking for the selected object.
